Cottage is cute & well equipped & weather is fab. We’re enjoying the swimming pool.

We have just had the most wonderful family stay at Popples! From the welcome hamper and board games to the cutest childrens books - we loved all these special thoughtful touches! The beds were soo comfy, the decor is gorgeous and everything was pristine! The actual estate has a beautiful warm outdoor & indoor pool and the grounds are beautiful to walk around. We have a 1 year old who loved the walled garden with play area!

The cottage is also a great location 10 mins from lovely country eateries and 25 mins to Salcombe and Hope Cove which were our favorite spots.

Totally recommend Popples cottage for a family friendly stay ~ we cant wait to come back to what felt like a home from home ~ we’ll be back soon

We had the most wonderful stay at The Popples Cottage. The home was beautifully presented and felt like a real home from home. The grounds were absolutely stunning, and we enjoyed walking our dog around the lake. The heated pool and lounging terrace were a lovely way to finish the day. We found the location perfect, with many beautiful towns, beaches, and places of interest within a 30-minute drive. The convenience of a shop and eating places within walking distance was a huge bonus, all while being in lovely, quiet surroundings. We would highly recommend it and would definitely stay again when visiting the area. Many thanks for a memorable stay!

We have really loved our week at Popples. We found it such a delight to stay here from the lovely, cosy decor & furnishings, boards games & books & all the outdoor perks of the Colmer Estate. The Children are already begging to come back in the future. Thank you for sharing your cottage with us xx

We have just got back from our second stay at Popples and it was just as amazing as ever! It really feels like our home from home This time the weather was more autumnal, yet it was just as special and so nice to experience more of a cosy feel!! (vs heatwave last time!)
The heated indoor pool is such a highlight for us all and we just love the central location for exploring so many different places! (We loved Bigbury Beach, the Chilli Farm Shilstone Manor and Turtley Corn Mill all within 5-20 mins from the cottage!)
Thank you Popples for all the thoughtful touches ps. even though we forgot all our toddlers toys - the cottage is SO well equipped with books and toys thankfully it didnt matter!!!
